News » The 28th SFC Tanabata Festival will be held on July 1st, 2017
The 28th Tanabata Festival will be held on July 1st, 2017 at Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus. The event is a summer festival focused on collaboration with the local community and area. We expect to celebrate with others living around SFC.
There will be many exciting events such as setting off fireworks, which will be done by SFC students who have obtained a license for the event! Registration is not required to participate, so feel free to join us at SFC!
Tanabata, also known as the “star festival”, takes place on the 7th day of the 7th month of the year. According to a Chinese legend, the two stars Altair and Vega, separated by the Milky Way, are able to meet on this day.
